The rapid spreading of COVID-19 has led EASA to issue two Safety Directives to specify mandatory measures to adopt for aircrafts serving high-risk areas for cabin disinfection.

In the endeavour of tackling the spread of COVID-19 and further bacteria/virus, AIRE is offering a full cleaning & disinfection service for passenger cabin, cockpit and cargo compartment to safeguard passengers, crews and airport staff.

AIRE is implementing the activities according to aircraft AMM procedures, in compliance with EASA regulation, and releasing a Certification of Disinfection after the completion of the work to state the sanitised condition of the environment.

The process starts with a first release of disinfectant applied through a nebulizer in the entire cabin area (including lavatories) and cargo compartment.

Downstream the nebulization process and relevant 15 minutes stop to let the nebulized product makes its effect on surfaces, the team continues the disinfection with product release by spray pump on all the visible surfaces of passengers’ cabin and cockpit and relevant lint-free cotton cloth scrubbing.
